Analysis of Texture and Anisotropic Elastic Properties of Additively Manufactured Ni-Base Alloys

چکیده
Additive manufacturing of metallic materials generates strong crystallographic textures, leading to anisotropic elastic properties on the macroscopic scale. The impact processing parameters resulting texture requires suitable techniques for prediction and experimental determination exploit anisotropy in design process. Within this study mechanical as well microstructure based approaches are applied a batch specimens manufactured from IN718 by selective laser melting assess behavior macroscropic Tensile loading experiments impulse excitation technique without additional constitutive data. Furthermore, is estimated single-crystal data measured electron backscatter diffraction high energy X-ray diffraction. results discussed compared, allowing also homogeneity within specimens.
